darkandrew Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) I have a Gibson Les Paul studio in Faded cherry (ie. Stained dark red with a thin satin cellulose lacquer on top). It's tone is great but I just don't get on with the neck (50s profile). Should I get the neck re-profiled or just sell and get a new one? darkandrew Posted May 23, 2016 Author Share Posted May 23, 2016 I've had it for about 6 years now, so I've had plenty of time to get used to it. I think that the main problem is that I also have a couple of ESP Eclipses whose necks are a lot thinner, and this stops me becoming accustomed to the thicker necked Les Paul.
