Mykesbass Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I know this is a huge Marmite song around here - but here it is in all its camp glory with Will Lee putting in a pretty decent vocal performance http://www.notreble.com/buzz/2015/05/20/will-lee-with-the-cbs-orchestra-macarthur-park/ Quote
wateroftyne Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 He's a great player, and that's a great band. Paul Shaffer, too... an original Blues Brothers band member. Quote
lowdown Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Yep great version, I posted this last year. WL does a terrific job along with an outstanding Orchestra. Love the cake at the end... Wasn't Will the voice of Ronald MacDonald many moons ago? I am sure I read that somewhere. I know he did commercial vocal sessions as well as Bass. Quote

lowdown Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Yep, HB was great, but I think Steve Jordan was Drumming back then, not Anton Fig ? The Worlds Most Dangerous Band? Not sure why I am getting all busy and Geeky, they are all great. Quote
chris_b Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Another Will Lee/Anton Fig rhythm section. Love this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCkx5O7zUU0 Quote
