alyctes Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 (edited) Ibanez SR300, strung BEAD. £100 plus carriage to the UK. SR300 in Pearl White (I think that's what the colour is called). It's strung BEAD; if you want to string it EADG it will need a new nut. The strings are roundwound, not sure of the brand. Bought when I thought I'd never be able to play fives but still wanted that low B; selling because I don't need the low B enough to actually play it. Shame, really. Apart from that, it's an SR300; nice little active bass, above entry level. I've never gigged it, but that's only because the project I wanted it for folded. Light, skinny fast neck, comfortable. The truss rod turns sweetly. There is a scar, on the back of the neck behind the 11th fret; I've never noticed it as a problem. There is also a small flaw in the finish between the pups. Apart from that, I can't find anything wrong with it. It will come with a generic gig bag. Bassassin Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Bargain, that. If I hadn't picked up a beater SR500 I'd have it. Jon.
