Duarte
Just picked this up in Sydney city centre, was in need of something cheap and portable and bam! Sorted. This thing is awesome. So much fun to play and actually sounds pretty damn good. I'm amazed that we don't all have one!
Rumple
I'm not that keen on the looks but I've thought about trying out a short or medium scale bass, something like this would be idea. Glad you like your new purchase - enjoy!
Andyjr1515
I have the long scale version ( my avatar) and have always been very pleased with it. Folk I know who have the short scales are also very happy indeed with them. They are soooo affordable too
Musicman20
Nice, and nice environment to be playing bass in!
jezzaboy
They get a lot of love on Talkbass. Not that I ever go there
Twincam
There generally well thought of bar the rear pu that is considered weak. Often people mod them.
uk_lefty
Saw a band recently where the bassist used one of these through a fender rumble (probably the 500) and the sound was excellent. Just typical issue of no lefties being made... :'(
RickyV
Oooh I've been eyeing one of these up for a while. The all black with the matching headstock looks fab.
joseb84
Bought one of these (the all black) on Wednesday. Having spent the last 12 years borrowing various basses from friends nice to finally have one I can call my own! Very pleased with early impressions - eminently light and playable, which as a 9st, 5'6'' and small-handed bloke was a key requirement. Was convinced within a minute of trying it out that short-scale was the way to go for me. Haven't had a chance to put it through a full rig yet (tho should be able to on Sunday...) but through my practice amp both the P and J tones are clear and well defined. Also looking forward to putting it through my Zoom B3 which should be arriving next week.
casapete
Just got one of these, black with matching headstock. Used it at a gig last night. Wow! Fabulous bass, especially for the money. Serous threat to my Danelectro Longhorn....
lefrash
There seems to be a lot more bass chat love for short scales than there is in my real life experiences. I may have to pick up a wee short scaler.. bet it would be fun to play.
