70ies Schulte Compact Phasing A, rare vintage german Krautrock Phaser SOLD! £650

This is one of the most famous effects units that were made in the 70´s. The Compact Phasing "A" was made in Berlin by Gerhardt Schulte, and this thing has been extensively used by Krautrock bands and electronic musicians not only in Germany: Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Oskar Sala, Jon Lord, Rubycon, J.M. Jarre, Pink Floyd...

It´s possible to use it in a very subtle way, but it´s more interesting when you play with the knobs to get more deep, dramatic and esoteric tones. Also, the huge knobs go to 11, and the "Berlin bear" is featured on the back.

This is the rare black version. It´s in very good condition and comes with the original footswitch that is essential. It doesn´t bypass the effect, it slows down and stops the modulation, to get Leslie-like brake sounds as you can start and stop the LFO with it.

A copy of the original german manual and schematics is included.
