Bassist (pref. double bass) needed for pro boogie/rock'n'roll/blues trio, Berkshire

We're a couple of experienced, reliable, professional musicians (piano/Hammond + drums) putting together a trio playing blues / boogie / rock'n'roll. The trio will stand up on it's own, but we've also got guest vocalists to draw upon. We're looking for a bassist who can slam through a couple of intensive rehearsals with us, and get into some paid gigs. The idea of double bass appeals, but we're not averse to electric.

We've got premises in Wokingham, Berkshire. Because we won't be doing weekly rehearsals etc we don't necessarily need someone very local.

Same happened to me. I replied to this ad when it first appeared, got one response promising more info, then nothing since. Mildly annoying isn't it.
