DavidMcKay
Guys/Gals - need some advice. I've written/composed an unofficial song for the Scotland World Cup 2016 campaign. How do I go about protecting my IP and what is the most effective way of getting my song out there and earning revenue? Any and all comments gratefully received! gjones
If you want to earn revenue, you'd be better off writing a song for Brazil's World Cup campaign rather than Scotland's. But being Scottish, deep in your heart, you probably know that already.
xgsjx
The best way to protect it is to write a song about Scotland winning. There's many ways to officially copyright a song, but I believe it automatically gets copyrighted as soon as you've got your recording. Getting it out there? Try social media such as Facebook, twatter, Youchoob, etc. Hit the team's media pages with links & do lots of networking. Good luck with it. Happy Jack
Which sport will this World Cup be in? Clearly it's not football.
