cybertect Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 (edited) I don't think this news has been posted here before... In case anyone didn't know, last weekend Wunjo Bass moved from their shop at 22 Denmark Street into the basement of No. 23, below the keyboards shop. I've written a blog post about the move with a bunch of photographs on my Denmark Street project site, Street of Sound A couple of pics as a teaser: Tom being proprietorial in his new basement The new interior Edited May 27, 2016 by cybertect Quote
Silvia Bluejay Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Thanks Rob - must visit one of these days. I see that no matter how big the new room, it's already filled to capacity with basses! Quote

ahpook Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I was in there on Monday, Tom's a lovely chap. Such a change from the atmosphere in some of the other shops that used to be there. Quote

LewisK1975 Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Yep - the Tom in the top photo is a great guy, did me a great deal on a Fender Geddy Lee a few years ago, and sourced me a couple of thing I was looking for too. Excellent! Quote

Silvia Bluejay Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 (edited) Visited the shop this afternoon, said hi to the Toms, saw a lot of nice basses! Lefty models are well represented. I managed to stop myself from going home with a gorgeous lefty Streamer, at least this time. Happy Jack's GAS had the better of him, though, so we now have a new bass family member awaiting its photo session and NBD thread... Edited May 28, 2016 by bluejay Quote

The building is being stripped out and refurbished with a full electric rewire. Wunjo will be moving back when it's done. Quote
