fretmeister
Do they exist? I've had Snarks and the little Planet Waves thing - but all seem to be awful on the B. Are there any that work?
Happy Jack
Intellitune. But in general terms, for a Low B you should always tune against the 12th fret harmonic - you'll get much better results.
ezbass
My Polytune works OK.
Huge Hands
I find my Snark SN8 works ok on low B? I use it on my guitars and my NXT EUB with no problems? At worst, sometimes on the NXT I have to be careful where I place it on the headstock to get the low B (i.e. on the B/E side), but it's usually fine. DarkHeart
I got a couple of cheap ones from China `Eno` or something that work better with my low B than my korg pedal!
Billy Apple
I've had results with the Planet Waves when I've moved it around the headstock.
ricksterphil
Polytune clip is the best clip on tuner I've used - very accurate I sometimes have problems with it picking up low e but I just tune on the 12th fret harmonic Only play 4 string so no experience of low B On a guitar, the polytune is so much more accurate than the Snark type it almost feels like a new guitar
