Recommend movie editor for W7

Can anyone suggest a good movie maker/editor for windows 7. I've got the standard pre installed live movie maker.
Is it sufficient to start making my own videos, you tube videos or is there anything better.

Although for W10, there is a thread running for movie editors.
If you check the specs on the suggestions, I am sure there will be stuff for W7.
