Yes, it has a replica 1970's Fender logo on the headstock, but it's really a Squier Standard Jazz Bass, upgraded with DiMarzio Model J - DP123's which sound blooming lovely

It's wearing a new set of GHS Boomers which are coated, they were on my other Jazz Bass for a few hours and then went straight on to this one.

And of course being even clearer there arguably hasn't been a 'real Fender' since January 1965 anyway... I guess my USA Std is just wood, design, marketing and intellectual property rights.

Option B - all perspective new owners must have criminal record background checks and sign declarations.
