Bass related tattoos

Hey folks,
I am looking for a bass related tattoo to go over an old tattoo that I am in the process of having lasered off. I have looked at some designs and some are ok. Obviously I want the winning design to have a bass clef in it, but it would be nice to have something that is a bit more unusual than just the clef on it's own. Has anyone else got any ideas of possible designs? I am open to all possibilities.

I find the bass clef to be a bit cheesy - how about the original musicman stripey trousers logo?

I have a band of bass clefs the whole way around my right arm as part of a half sleeve. It's 7 years old now and bass clefs didn't used to be as popular (or "cheesy" - I suppose they are a bit now) back then. I also have a small silhouetted P bass headstock as part of my 3/4 length sleeve on my other arm too.

There are loads of ideas if you do a google images search around bass tattoos.

How about the Fender logo, just don't try to sell yourself as s real one though

I had this one done a year or two ago, two bass clefs with an Anglo Saxon touch to fit in with the band above it. I gave the basic idea to my tattooist and she came up with a few variations.

Here it is. It's a rather large tattoo, so it wraps around the shoulder a bit, hence the apparent distortion in this pic. It's in fact a perfect representation of a Seymour Duncan.

I thought about getting a bass clef tattoo, but then decided against it as I don't read music. I think I will get a 'TAB' tattoo instead.

Thanks fellas. Some great ideas. I take delivery of my Bongo 4 HH on Wednesday that I have been waiting 6 months for. Maybe I will think about that as well.

How about a line of music with the notes of your favourite riff or section of a song on it? Obviously the bass clef would be at the beginning. You could have it wrap around your arm or have it wavy like a ribbon or even a spiral.
