SisterAbdullahX Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Blimey! 6 strings are not for me but, Lordy.... http://www.kieselguitars.com/guitars-in-stock/117961 Quote
Sibob Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Meh Just looks like a Carvin, which is what it is essentially Si Quote
Schnozzalee Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Never tried a Carvin/Kiesel, but they do look great - Hard to find in the UK Quote
M@23 Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Wonder how much it'd cost to bring one over. Some look quite nice. Didn't Bass Gear car ry Carvin stuff for a while? Quote
SisterAbdullahX Posted May 29, 2016 Author Posted May 29, 2016 Yeah, Kiesel/Carvin one and the same. I think the Kiesel's are the fancier wood jobbies. Bass Gear did indeed and may still do 'em. I ordered my SB5000 through them and can attest to the high build quality of them. £1300 for that 6er is a steal! Quote
Schnozzalee Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 You've owned a Pedulla before, so I believe you Quote

haimesy Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 I've had 2 Carvins and they are great instruments , I also had this custom build fretless SB built through Bass Gear. Not much love in the UK for them , maybe due to the cost of shipping/ taxes etc . John Quote

[/quote] It would be if you lived in the US. Add on a high cost for shipping, 20% Tax, 3% customs duty, and a nominal handling charge (IIRC) and it's not quite so cheap unfortunately. Quote
