Simplicity itself to use. Probably designed for thickos like me who can't be doing with loads of programming -- basically set out like an array of stompboxes, so select your effect with the dials, switch it on with the footswitch and off you go. Loads of nice Boss effects, including octave-up, T-wah and a range of overdrivers / mods / echos -- everything a bass player might consider wanting, and more besides, almost all of them useful. Also comes with built in tuner, expression pedal and memory space for 24 user-defined patches. Can be run on batteries, I've never done so. Not a scratch on it (I did say hardly used), manual included (though you probably won't need it). As with most Boss kit, it's built like a tank.
