FS/FT Carvin 6 Bass - WITHDRAWN £695

[color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]Selling or trading this superb Carvin 6 as it unlikely to get the use it deserves. It has one of the most beautiful pieces of top wood that I have seen for a long time. With a high gloss finish the bass just oozes quality. It is a Lightweight, 34" scale, 48mm top nut, 16.5mm string spacing. The weight is approx 4.5kg according to my luggage scales.[/font][/color][color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif] The through neck construction is beautifully done and the shallow neck profile makes for effortless playing - as effortless as you can be with 6 strings to contend with [/font][/color] [color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif] [/font][/color]

Are you sure about the string spacing ?

Usually it's 16,25 mm at the bridge by Carvin.

Cheers, you are correct and the string spacing is, indeed, 16.5mm. However, using my pre-decimal school ruler shows 18mm, which just goes to show how going metric shrunk things!
