The-Ox
He does a good job with The Seeker though.
he does on this tbf! The last time I saw The Who at the SSE/Wembley Arena, I was fairly close, on his side too, couldn't hear him so much, but then again thats probably just Pete letting go! skej21
I can't believe nobody has mentioned Pino's playing on Erykah Badu's groove-packed album 'Mama's Gun'... One of my favourite albums ever and up there (IMO exceeding) his ideas on the D'Angelo stuff. The groove on "Cleva" and "Penitentiary Philosophy" are incredible. This is the only YouTube example I could find from the album though (and it's not Pino!) http://youtu.be/Np21rH7Ldto Edited June 5, 2016 by skej21
Jazzneck
IMHO Pino is better than Jaco! There..... I said it! Edited June 5, 2016 by Jazzneck
toneknob
Check out David Gilmour's second solo album About Face, Pino is all over it. If you want an idea of how Momentary Lapse Of Reason was going to turn out, this is a good primer. ezbass
Of course we haven't yet mentioned his fusion work in PSP (Phillips, Saisse, Palladino) which is yet another genre he excels in. Irritating isn't he?
GHP
Its a great bass but I would not pay that for it
