Cobretti Posted June 7, 2016 Share Posted June 7, 2016 For sale is a rare Epiphone bass indeed the famous Rivoli bass, this one is a 1997 model which was made at the Peerless Korea factory which is known for making the best epiphone guitars and basses. Furthermore, this particular bass was owned by none other than Gaz Coombes of legendary band Oxford band Supergrass, and has been housed and used in his recording studio since the writing sessions for In it for the Money back in the 90's, and being from Oxford myself, has fallen into my grubby paws. Authentication can be provided to the buyer if requested. The overall condition is good with some minor imperfections and surface scratches from general playing from over the years which you can see in the pictures. Superp player and also comes with the original Epiphone hand case. FYI, the main imperfection in the pic is just gaffer tape, needs a clean.
