Quite a line-up for Chick's 75th birthday residencey at the Blue Note...

Bass player roster includes:

John Patitucci for the Elektric Band shows

Marcus Miller for the 'For Miles' shows

Charles Benavent for the Flamenco shows

Carlitos Del Puerto for the Origin shows

Aishai Cohen for the RTF acoustic shows

and, finally Victor for the RTF electric shows and John McLaughlin!
Obviously Stanley must be on tour elsewhere... Can't imagine why else he'd miss it.

That's quite a line-up and astonishing that one pianist can cover the complete repertoire (plus there's more formats too I haven't listed.)

Wish I lived nearer New York....

Got to admit some of it I'd have NO idea what to expect, for example
The Three Quartets Band
The Leprechaun Band

If I had to choose I'd go with, in rough order of preference, a top 5 of
RtF electric
RtF acoustic
CC Elektric Band
For Miles
Electronica

then anything I've missed with Steve Gadd.

Well you either know those two records or you don't... Think the Leprechaun might have had Anthony Jackson on bass?

Anywho - I hope its recorded and released.... (pretty sure it will be - at least as a highlights package)

Ah, they're from lesser-known corners of the Corea catalog? I didn't know. I shall investigate!

edit: you're right - Anthony Jackson and Eddie Gomez on bass.
