logicred Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) * SOLD * NO TRADES THANK YOU Based in Norfolk. Will post at your cost. I have a gig bag for a tiny bit more cash too. Yamaha SBV500 reissue from circa 2000- 2001. Medium to light weight. Nostalgia rules in this bass version of Yamaha's '60s-revisited SGV guitar. Contemporary retro in the bass field has rarely been as elegant or practical as on Yamaha's SBV500. The sculpted, reverse-cutaway solid alder body balances a treat on the strap, while the slim 34"-scale neck offers great handling, a fast action and a full, well-tensioned tone. The two single-coil pickups evoke the '60s vibe, yet the bright and cutting sounds are entirely relevant to many of today's musical styles and interpretations. logicred Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 I can sort a gig bag for a tenner if anyone needs it posted. Had a couple of enquiries about posting overseas. Would like to post within the UK or try local pickup first please.
Bassassin Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I have one of these and it's a keeper - basically a mad-shaped, lightweight & punchy-sounding Jazz. Nearly picked up a second one for £70 in Crack Converters a couple of years back. Wish I had now... GLWTS! Jon.
Bassassin Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016
Please tell me that's a 42mm nut. Or bigger...
Sold now, it seems - but for future reference it's 38mm. Like I said, mad shaped Jazzer.
