Billy Apple Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 (edited) Jackson Surfcaster £525Price Drop £475 Last of the Surfcasters, virtually NOS and un-played. Still has the film on the scratch plate. Lovely translucent blonde body which is chambered mahogany with an ash top. Duncan designed lip-stick and humbucker, maple neck with black sharks-fin inlays. Been professionally set-up by Julian Mullen who does work for Bass Gear. Nice low action with a slim fast neck. I'm in near Newbury and can deliver locally / Thames Valley. Can drop in London zones 1 to 6. Will courier, but only if the buyer sorts it all and I just hand over. Comes with Gator HSC. Will get some better pics in a bit, but this will have to do for now. No trades thanks. Cheers! Edited December 4, 2017 by Billy Apple
Billy Apple Posted September 15, 2016 Author Posted September 15, 2016 I've been asked about serial numbers. I don't like giving these out unless I'm really sure, but it is a seven digit one beginning with 96, which dates it as '96 made in Japan. http://www.jcfonline...y-of-Origin-FAQ
Bassassin Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Stunning. Why did they never do a Surfcaster bass like this? If I had the money & space, I'd have this. GLWTS!

Grahambythesea Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Great looking guitar, jaguar meets rickenbacker! You describe it as "blonde" , is it a paint finish or is there grain showing through as per natural?
Billy Apple Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 Yes, the finish is slightly translucent and the grain shows through, very subtle though.
