King Tut
I've got a couple of gigs coming up on EUB, and I might be doing some singing. Using a mic on a stand with EUB is a bit of a bugger, and I have an old Senheiser Freeport wireless headset system knocking about. It works on 863 - 865 mhz. I think this is still legal but i know there's been some radio frequency jiggery pokery going on over the last couple years. Anyone know if this'll be any good to use, or whether I'll be picking up peeps phone calls mid gig? If you're using stuff on that frequency with no problems currently, I'd love for you to reassure me! Colin
backwater
The 863-865 band (also referred to as channel 70) is still legal. Details of which frequencies are legal can be found here http://www.canford.co.uk/Technical/Article/UKLegalRadioMicFrequencies Andy
Maude
I picked up one of these to use on doublebass. It was very reliable and never got any interference or drop out, but I did loose some bottom end so I moved it on. For vocals I'd imagine it would be fine.
