eubassix
Had this Andy Schack bass for a while and thinking of doing some refin' work (bass is great, but body/finish is messy and the dk-blue covers the one-piece flamed maple). BUT .. how do you remove the bolt-less neck ?!!!

Additional Q: Andy Schack / Nico Schack ??... I always knew of Andy and had assumed the basses (in addition to the circuits) were built by him. But there seems now to be a NICO Schack connected with the same instruments ??
grooveit
Hi, still want to get the neck off? Schack bolt-ons have a patented covered neck fixing system. You have to remove the neck pick up and then you need a 3mm wrench (as far as I remember). It's just one screw, and you can remove the neck. BTW, Niko is Andy Schack's son, who has taken over the business. Cheers Klaus
