discreet Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Oof! Are those chi-sonic pickups, or something? Quote
Machines Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Hmm not bad. About time they did something new with the Skylines - i'm just not sure about that colour. Quote

discreet Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 So different colour, different pick guard, different board and we're sorted. Quote
EssentialTension Posted June 13, 2016 Author Posted June 13, 2016 Even in that colour with that fretboard and that pickguard ... they will sell quite a few. Quote
Machines Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 If they do a custom version with block inlays and a matching headstock it'd be a bit nicer. Quote
NJE Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 That looks tasty!! I have to say I have become a Lakland convert after getting my 55-02 and I really don't need the temptation to get a 5 string Jazz. They do it with Tort pickguard as well. Quote
Grahambythesea Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Perhaps with an anodised gold scratch plate and gold hardware or is that too much of the Midas touch! 😃 Quote
That's an option on the US model but then you can have any colour finish too. No doubt one could get a tort guard for the Skyline version if preferred. Quote

EssentialTension Posted June 13, 2016 Author Posted June 13, 2016
Nice! They should make a DJ-Sonic too...
I imagine if you go US, then a DJ-Sonic would be available. Quote
Harrythebassdawg Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 does anyone know if it's possible to get hold of chi-sonic pickups in the uk? Quote
CameronJ Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I think there was a green Jazz body loaded with Chi Sonics on sale here not too long ago...it may still be available! Quote
CameronJ Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Here it is. I think it's still for sale: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/301150-sage-green-fender-bitsa-loaded-jazz-body-chi-sonics-price-dropped-again/page__fromsearch__1 Buy it, nab the pups, sell the body on unloaded? Quote
