Incidentally, Your old Limelights serial number when entered into the database comes up with 1962 not 1963.

That's probably why it's got a slab board, then. But I'm not sure it's got the correct amount of patent numbers under the logo for a 62. Maybe it's one of those rare transition basses. Or maybe I'll be a little bit more careful with my spec next time.

That's exactly what I've ordered. I'll be 40 in October and Mark is currently making me a 1976 precision. I'm going to pick it up from him in October though as it's a gift from all my family so I agreed not to have it sooner. It's all paid for and the wait til October is killing me.
