Annoying Twit
Nobody bid on this 12 string bass. The listing claims it's made in the same factory that makes the Dean 12 string. Paul Cooke
It's a bit of a novelty item... not only that, finding strings for it would be a real nightmare... and I'll bet it's a real *&"^£$&*"* to tune... so basically, I'm not at all surprised it didn't go... It was remarked on in an earlier post when it first popped up...
Trace_n_bass
If you want lots of strings why are they playing bass!?!?
WarPig
The bassist in a local band has one (http://www.myspace.com/tortillaarmy)and he was nice enough to let me have a go, and it was a great bass, a totally different experience. Wil
Well, it's a Galveston for a start. £198 is expensive for firewood.
v8bass
Have to say these things sound monumental ... they totally rock ! Sold in many guises as Galveston , Carlo Robelli etc .. cheap as chips and not too shabby IMHO Ive played one for 4 or 5 years and it still blows me away ...if i didnt allready own far too many basses id have this too.. Bulid quality is better than average ..some of the tops are pretty good ...actives too A little neck heavy but watch your guitar players jaw drop when you open up with one of thes thru a bi amp rig and apply a little chorus .. Yummm There was a Hamer 12 Kicking round too ...might go take a look
ahpook
i'd go for an 8-string but not a 12-string....they just look loads of hassle... although they do sound good.
Annoying Twit
Relisted. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...B:WNARL:GB:1123 If I was interested in this, I might email the seller asking them to speak to me if it doesn't sell again and the seller is prepared to negotiate on price a bit more.
