therealting
Static noise coming from my Shuttle 9.0, whether an instrument is plugged in or not. Have tried re-seating and replacing the valve and nothing's changed. Does anyone have any other ideas, or have a recommendation for a good amp tech (or authorised service centre) in London area who deals with Genz/SS/Class D? Quite like this amp and would like to get it working again. https://instagram.com/p/BGKgy9wEeL6/
haimesy
Have the same with my Shuttle 6.2 on the odd occasion , put a new valve in which I thought had cured it .. But it has happened again now. It happens very rarely and mine is more like a loud white noise . I was recommend a service by the shop I bought it from but , haven't found anyone to do it yet...good luck with yours. And hopefully a technically minded BCer may be able to help...John
Dandelion
I had this problem with my Shuttle. It was solved by inserting and removing a guitar lead into each of the phono ports on the rear of the unit one at a time. I don't know how and this solves the problem but it does. I read about this on the internet somewhere.
MOSCOWBASS
I've also had this, it was the valve base pins that were slack, needed to be bent tighter to hold the valve secure. Also check the push in valve base holder pins are not oxidized

sunburstjazz1967
The pots get scratchy too, a can of servisol sprayed in every nook and cranny while pushing and pulling and poking every knob and orrifice is the way forward, that's what would be done as a service. haimesy
Would you open the amp up todo that or just via the front panel... Thanks for the advice
okusman
Same. Opened up. Re-seated the pre-amp valve, then servisoiled everything. The issue presented 20mins b4 a show. Cool head and a keen screwdriver...sorted.
