Naga Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 (edited) I'm selling this splendid F AC5 fretless. A lot of people consider it as the Holy Grail of all fretless, and I too believe so. Her only flaw, for me, is to not be a 6 strings, as it is what I'm playing 99% of my time. Straight sale only, no trade please. She is in a pristine state : no dings or dents. It looks as new as it can be, except for light strings marks on the fretboard, expected when you play roundwounds on a fretless. It's hardly noticeable though. The action is very low, and the strings (F brand) have been changed last week. It is strung BEADG - brownburst glossy finish - spruce top - body: flamed maple, hard maple toneblock, chambered - 3 pieces hard rock maple neck - gorgeous ebony fretboard 1F pick-up, + Piezzo in the bridge Electronics is also F : vol, piezzo, tona, EQ 3 bands, parametric mediums, active passive, and serie/parallel stack push pull. The sound is Alain Caron's, obviously. But you can also dig into the double bass or modern sounds, while spending some quality time on Jaco's touch. Playability and balance are top notch, yet, the weight is very light. The bass stands in Lille, France, or at least what's left of the city after the football supporters will have had their time with it. Price is 3000£, including the F cordura gigbag. Shipment possible on your expense. Pictures from previous owner: Edited July 13, 2016 by Naga
