Oliv G getting old question

Hi

I use Spiro weich EAD with an Oliv G and love the sound and feel. The Oliv is a bit pricey so I got one off here in vgood condition a couple of years ago.

The thing is that it has recently started to lose tuning between gigs by a good semi-tone or more. This hasn't happened to this extent before, although it always needs a slight tweak to get in tune. It could be due to the warm humid weather, i guess. I am so used to having old spiros that don't break that I am am a bit worried this G is going to snap on a gig.

My question
Is this Oliv G on it's way out? / How long do they last?

If so, does anyone have one going cheap?

Ive got one or two I could sell if you want. I moved onto Pirastro Pizzicato G
