Peavey USA stuff is generally quite good it just never got the name for itself like fender did. No doubt a good sounding USA precision but yes its over priced, but still not expensive for what you get. I'd take that over a squire or mexican fender anyday. You can pick up vintage usa peavey stuff for around 150 quid in most cases except for the t-40

If you are looking for a decent back-up bass you could do a lot worse than checking this out... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=25712

Graphite neck and all, for the price of a Squier!

Hi everybody,

I'm so fed up with looking for a good quality back-up P-bass, I gave in and bought this for £150. Let's hope It'll be alright when it arrives.

I think you've done alright there, 150 quid isnt overly expensive and you could have done alot worse for that kind of money. give us a review when you get it

Thanks for the reassurance! According to Peavey, it was made in Mississippi on 24th April 1987. I thought - "It's only £150 - it's worth a gamble". When I get it, I'll let you know how it compares to my Tokai Hardpuncher.
