joeystrange
Has anyone had any experience with Nash basses, specifically their P model? I like the look of them and I've heard good things about their guitars but not a lot about the basses.
KK Jale
I've played a few Nash P's and they've been pretty okay. Always hated their neck finishes - that horrid orange lacquer suddenly going to dirtied bare wood - and I think there are now better, and cheaper, options in faux-old-Fender land. Happy Jack
My long term guitar tech works on Nash basses quite frequently. He is very uncomplimentary about them, both as relics and as players. There are much better mojo basses available, and for less money.
joeystrange
That's a shame but it's good to know. Thanks.
discreet
I'd buy a Limelight over a Nash (half the price for one thing), but my recently-acquired Road Worn P is a cracker. Not what you'd call 'unique' though, but it sure do play nice and sounds great.
Opticaleye
I remember trying a Nash Jazz and a Precision couple of years back. Nowhere near as good as a Roadworn Fender IMO. In fact I recall thinking that my 81 Tokai J and my 78 Aria P were far better in every way.
