Hey Clarky.

Yes, I've got the taste for just this sort of bass, but apart from having all my currently available funds going into a new clutch and gearbox I'd have a punt.

The other thing is.. I bloody want that White P Bass of yours!! Actually, could let me have a pic of it? (not for anything dirty!!) It's just too damn tempting. What is the neck like, I understand it's a slim version? Any dead spots?

Also, any ideas on how I could hide it from the good lady at Gnome Towers?!?! :)

Hi there - I will try to put up a couple more pics tonight. The neck is slimline and feels more like a Jazz than a P. It has a nice dark-coloured rosewood fretboard and lacquered back which means you can move position really easily. It is strung with Thomastik Infeld Flatwounds (which you may or may not like, but give a thumping sound). The action is great and, combined with the foregoing, its very easy to play (I put up a post earlier about making flatwounds more slippery - the nice-playing P bass I was referring to was this one, the other less-nice-playing one being being my sunburst MIA P bass)

Re hiding it, do you have a tree in the sitting room you could stand it behind? Or a book cabinet shaped like a bass?
