sonnyonbass Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 (edited) Nice Hohner passive 5 string bass, Has a few dings that have been touched up in black. Nothing too bad. Bit of buckle rash on the back and the usual swirls from slapping and popping but looks very ok for a bass of this age. Strap button has been moved to a better location. It's nicely balanced now. Fretboard is in very good condition as are the frets. Has Steinberger licensed bridge. 1 screw from the bridge has been replaced by a rvs one. You can still order a black one. Call me lazy. :-) If you need more pics, no problem. I'm trying to restore a Jazz bass to its original glory so I need some funds. All in all a fun bass that sounds good for a nice price. Willing to ship everywhere. Edited October 4, 2016 by sonnyonbass
AndyTravis Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Ah, would be good to have - I'm skint though, new baby and I have stuff to sell rather than buy 😞
NigeH Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Im very tempted by this! Are they a good bass in their own right or just a novelty?
AndyTravis Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016
Im very tempted by this! Are they a good bass in their own right or just a novelty?
They're brilliant, very direct and clear sounding. I had a B2A for a few years.
