Blocked and bound neck. Very funky. I tried a Geddy Lee in the shop.......... what a neck!!!!! Possible too thin for me even. Lovely bass though. You got rid of yours I recall, OTPJ? The Geddy was a lovely bass apart from the pathetically weak output & the fact that the neck would change shape with the slightest weather change. I did have 35-90 strings on it, though! I didn't get chance to say that your bass looks really nice, especially with the block binding & the bullet trussrod. Looking forward to trying one of those, but I'm thinking along the lines of an American Standard jazz for myself, or maybe another S1 jazz. Rich.
