Clarky72 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Not strictly right, it was new a month ago but I've only just got around to getting the pics up here... Precision body Jazz neck, reverse headstock Double MusicMan humbuckers Black over white nitro relic finish Fender logo on headstock (primarliy to annoy a few of my purist friends) Its not Mark's normal retro replica build, but its what I wanted. Its a beast, its passive and is stupidly powerful! Quote
bartelby Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Awwww, you've done a posh version of my £30 bitsa bass! Quote
karlfer Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Lovin that Steve, congrats fella , bet that's a real powerhouse. I had an upside down headstock, freaked me out. Using furthest tuning peg, attempting to tune to G when of course it should be E But there again I'm an old confused fool Quote
Mine is very much a test bed for messing about. It's currently on version 4 of it's electronics. It did have a DOD 250 clone built into it at one point. But your bass is a beaut!! Quote
essexbasscat Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Very cool. You also get the A string under the tree, which in theory, allows a lower action Quote

sblueplanet Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Be interesting to know how the bass plays strung as BEAD with the longer string length on the lower strings. Quote
Bigwan Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016
Be interesting to know how the bass plays strung as BEAD with the longer string length on the lower strings.
The speaking length of the string is no different and neither is the string tension so it will make no difference whatsoever... Quote

mrtcat Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 This thread has (to me) some of the coolest basses I've seen on this forum. Clarky72 that looks killer. I love Mark's work and that looks like is should be awesome. Quote
