Up for sale is my Warwick Alien Rockbass Deluxe 4 string fretless. I ordered this from Promenade Music recently (7/6/16) on a whim and picked it up 11/6/16 on the day it came in, so it hasn't even been sat about in the shop. Unfortunately due to the width of the body it's currently aggravating a chronic right shoulder problem I have, although in all other ways I really enjoy playing it, so I'm thinking it may be best to sell it.

Fingerboard is ebony (Gary at Promenade was very taken with it), back and sides are bubinga, soundhole inlay is abalone, neck is mahogany (medium scale, as are all the 4 string Aliens to my knowledge). Preamp is a Fishman Presys+ Bass with built in tuner and bridge piezo. I've only used it at one rehearsal and maybe for a couple of hours at home; it's still got the tags on it and is as it came from the shop (and direct from the distributor as I picked it up the day it arrived). I'll throw in a new Stagg STB10 AB XL gig bag that I bought specifically for it.

I paid £799.00 for it - happy to show receipts - but I believe the Gallery will do them for £689, so given it's mere weeks old, barely used and the gig bag cost me £30 plus postage it's up for sale at [b]£495.00[/b] or nearest sensible offer. I'm not going to give it away so if I can't get a very close offer it'll stay for now. No trades and collection only. EDIT: the price drop is because I've just been hit by six-string GAS (the skinny-stringed non-bass kind) for something I've seen.

How is it when you amend the "price or trade value" and then save it doesn't change? Anyway, as noted above, price drop to £495.00 due to sudden-onset guitar-based GAS.

Nice. I've been listening to Jonas Hellborg playing an acoustic bass recently.

Pity it's not a 6 string fretless, I'd have been desperately trying to raise the funds.

Still available and now on the Gallery's website with more pics. Up for £475 on there but I'll honour the £395 I've quoted here if anyone wants it.
