Dubs Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 eeeeeeeaaaaaasy on the reverb matey!! apart from that, it's alright Quote
SteveK Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Very nicely played - Exceptionally clean - Hardly a rattle or buzz to be heard. Good on 'im. Quote
woolleydick Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Ok nice, but why play it on a bass if you want the whole thing to be in the guitar range of pitch (you know what I mean) Anyway - oh wise ones, what is the bass he is playing? Quote
thisnameistaken Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 People who take the E string off their basses to fit a C higher up should be given guitars. Especially when they start tapping. A slap and a guitar, that's what he needs. Quote

Does one need any other reason to play any tune on any particular instrument? And I think the bass is a Zon - one of these: http://www.zonguitars.com/zonguitars/vb.html M Quote

I think what he’s done with it is good though, I couldn’t do that. Quote
charic Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 I actually like it, well played an hats off to him, got an urge to learn it then give up eventually Quote
chris_b Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 And while we're nit picking.... look at that sofa!! Quote
lowdown Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Well Played... But what happened to the Rock out part at the end? Dont dudes do that any more.... Garry Quote
artisan Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 (edited) impressive aka clever bastard i really like that, very mellow & lovely tone,i actually like to reverby thing too. sounds a bit harpsicordy,at least on my work pc's crappy speakers it does. Edited October 2, 2008 by artisan Quote

MuseMatt Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 that composition of his reminds me of Andy McKee (guitarplayer) Quote
Faithless Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 It's soooo foooking beautiful.. Both compositions.. And I think, why you do give a f@ck, when you can not to give a f@ck? Bilbo Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Kudos to the guy- he's got his own concept and it sounds integrated and complete - not a shredfest but a musicial voice. Not something I want to explore as a player but his work is very clean and professional and he should be applauded. Quote
