FS/FT Ibanez edb500 ergodyne bass, Manchester. £199

I'm selling my ergodyne as I have one too many basses.
It's a great instrument, a superb player.
Super thin neck, and the body is made from lithuite which means Ibanez could make some interesting shapes a lot more cost effectively than wood. As a result it has a wonderful concave back that is a pleasure when resting against your tummy!
The cutaway under the strings makes it a superb bass for slap and pop.
Quite a light bass and very resonant.

I bought it off a guy who owned it from new around 2004 and barely played it so it is an absolute minter.
Only mark is a tiny one on the back of a horn.
Made in Korea and great quality.

Great neck, set up nicely, plays really well.

Sound wise it has active pickups, 2 band eq and a bass boost system.
Good range of tones and a very nice sound.

Finished in a superb matt grey that shows it's curves off beautifully.

Just had new Dunlop strings last month so ready to rock.
