MDWagstaff Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 I've got an EBS Valvedrive (original version) that I've been using fairly regularly for the last 3 years with no issues. Amps can store a lot of charge in their capacitors which you have to be careful of, but you can switch out a valve pretty easily, just pull it out and shove the new one in! I'd take it to a pro. [/quote] You're wise to advise caution, but in this case there's no real danger, the valves are a user-serviceable part !
