philw Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) So, the arrival of my Surf Jag (http://basschat.co.u...jagtele-mashup/) means that its predecessor in the go-to fretted bass category is no longer required. It's one of these: http://intl.fender.c...ke-placid-blue/ Bought from GAK less than a year ago (where they're currently £288), it's done a few gigs and was used extensively on the latest Galleons album (here: https://thegalleons.bandcamp.com), but it's in pretty much as-new condition. There's not a mark on it, and if you're after an entry-level PJ there's nothing better. Happy to ship at buyers expense (although I don't have a suitable box at the moment so that might take a couple of days to source), but if you're within striking distance of Brighton I'm also happy to receive visitors. Need the cash I'm afraid so no trades. And now, the pictures... philw Posted July 15, 2016 Author Posted July 15, 2016 A Friday, "surely somebody wants one of these they're great" bump. Make an offer, I might say "no", but you never know.
philw Posted July 25, 2016 Author Posted July 25, 2016 Post weekend bump! Surely somebody here wants a Squire PJ in perfect condition. Make me an offer!
philw Posted August 3, 2016 Author Posted August 3, 2016 Really? Nobody? Please don't make me do the eBay thing.
Thebassman75 Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 If only this was a maple neck, I'd be round in a shot. And I live in Brighton!
philw Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016
If only this was a maple neck, I'd be round in a shot. And I live in Brighton!
Ah, but if it were maple I probably wouldn't be selling it. But thinking out loud, it's perfectly feasible to put a maple neck on it when one comes up. The old neck will be reasonably easy to sell-on. Anyway, seeing as you're in this neck of the woods, you'd be very welcome to come 'round and have a go on it.
philw Posted September 2, 2016 Author Posted September 2, 2016 A birthday bump just for the hell of it. I'm sure somebody somewhere wants this perfectly lovely bass.
philw Posted September 8, 2016 Author Posted September 8, 2016 A "somebody buy this please" bump. Make me an offer!
philw Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 Things that go bump in the morning...
