ambient Posted July 13, 2016 Share Posted July 13, 2016 (edited) This is really nice. It came installed in my Roscoe fretless 6 string from the factory. I just bought a John East preamp. It's a 4 control preamp, with black knobs. The controls are volume, pickup balance, stacked bass/treble, and there's a 2 band mid control. With the control in its normal position it affects one mid frequency, pull it outwards, and it affects another mid frequency. All controls are cut and boost. It's quite easy to install, just solder the pickups on, and solder the earth connection. All connections have been labelled for ease of re-installation. £35 including postage.
