isteen
Sire made a vintage version of the V7 jazz bass. Different picks up position, slimmer neck - and don't the head stock look a bit different too?
Wilco
Got my eye on one of those when available on Thomann. Ash body maple neck 5 stringer to compliment my other one. Believe they have steel bridge too instead of brass. Should be a brighter tone than the original V7.

isteen
I am actually considering getting one of each, and returning one of the two - keeping the favorite one Edited July 16, 2016 by isteen

Looks that way when comparing the models on the website & I think I read that somewhere too.
