I will do a big studio production and I like the sound of the JC bass a lot on this record we are producing next week.
Usually I play a 5 string Nordy VP5 and a Rumblefish RL5 by Reverend.

So I am looking to recreate that Jack Casidy sound with a 5 string bass on stage.

Washburn AB95?
Warwick Star Bass?

Are there other semi hollow 5 string basses with a 34" scale?

This is quite affordable:

The Ibanez isn't 34" scale.

AFAIK the Warwick is the only 34" 5-string semi-hollow bass currently in production. I don't know how it compares with the JC because I've never played one. However I use one and it sounds great to me. One thing to watch if it's important to you is that the Rockbass version has a flat top and back as opposed to the arch-top of the Warwick version.

I owned that one briefly, but I sent it back. This one is a short scale.

There's more to the sound of a Jack Casady than where the pickup is - the body is almost completely hollow, the low-impedance pickup for starters. It's a difficult question the OP poses, one which I fear does not have a 100% satisfactory answer.

Would love an Atlansia, but all that design and individuality comes at a mighty price.

Here's another not so common brand, I'd never seen or heard of it until I randomly saw it on The Bass Gallery site.
Normandy Archtop Bass - Aluminium body.
