budget bassist Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 I put lemon oil on my necks and wipe it off, leaves it nice and clean feeling. Bartolini pickups suck, they're too polite sounding, unless you like that of course. Quote
markytbass Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 I've heard alot of prase for Wizard pick up's on here it all depends on what sound you want. I may even be getting some myself soon. Quote

I don't have experience of the newer pickups but I have the older versions on 2 of my basses and they sound huge, lots of fat bass oomph! Quote

lemmywinks Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 I had barts in my Squier Standard Jazz and i thought they sounded fantastic, made a cracking bass even better! The ones i had were 9J or something like that. Sold em to bassmandan when i decided i didn't need the Squier so give him a shout. Quote
