Wax potting pickups

Like the Dimarzio (?) pickups in my bass, but they squeal with the drive and treble cranked. Guessing this is cause they are not potted. How hard is it to get done to cure this? Reccomendation on who should be able to do it?

Try Wizard?? I thought the DM's were already potted in something gooey...even stuck into their cases?

I don't think wax potting is something to try at home, as it can catch fire if you don't/can't control the temperature carefully.
