Any suggestions for re-creating that woody hollow tone? I assume this is an electric bass despite the video showing someone arseing about with a DB. [/quote] Fender Precision, possibly fretless, flatwound La Bellas, play fingerstyle over the end of the fingerboard, treble rolled off. I remember him telling me that they did use a double bass and the guy that played it drew fret positions on the neck with chalk or something like that?
