Apparently they don't endorse users outside of the USA, but are sending me a T-Shirt, Stickers & a George L's cable tester as a thank you for supporting the product so much :)

Nice, but knowing that means I'll not be using them, as I'd planned.

They have plans to do so in the future it seems, they are, in their eyes, still a small business who's product control overseas is handled by other, small companies. I suspect things will change as the product continues to gain global popularity and eventually falls I to the hands of a large distributor who can also help handle international endorsements and tour support.

I certainly wouldn't let it put you off using what is a fantastic product that solves the issue of space with cabling on pedal boards.

Congrats Shep! You definitely need some more endorsee T-shirts!

Shep, is the board a single board with a riser for the Moog pedals? If so, how did you fit all the pedals on? Are some of them under the riser? I'm just finding it difficult to visualise how the board is laid out from the individual pics you've posted. I realise I can come round to the studio and look at the board to work this out, but thought I'd ask in case anyone else is wondering the same thing.

Mark, yes - its a single board with what the builder refers to as a 'bridge'. The bridge (or, raised platform) is secured in place with some small retaining bolts that just slide into the bottom of it. Most of the pedals that I don't tweak live are either under the bridge, or sat in 'hard to press' places and connected to the 8-way Bypass Looper, which I used to turn them on and off.

If you look at the last set of pics I posted you'll see a small bracket next to the Mastotron and one above it near the back of the board, they are what the 'foot' of the bridge line up against/clamp too on that side. You'll see that same on the other side next to the power supply. There is a middle support as well but that does not clamp down. It runs the same length as the other two, starting just above the PN-2 and runs up between the Bass Drive & the Evenflo adapter above the PN-2. If you look at the cabling there you'll see that most of it is in a 'loom' which curves around to be against the side of the Bass Drive, yet 1 cable is loose and runs straight up, this is because they fall either side of the 'foot'.

I've bought a couple of pedals recently and now I'm at a bit of a loss for the order to put them in.

Any suggestions, please?

TU-2 tuner - ODB-1 overdrive - CEB-3 chorus - SYB-3 synthesizer - OC-3 octave - FL-3 flanger - CryBaby bass wah

Thanks muchly.

I'd go TU2 > OC3 > ODB1 > SYB3 > CEB3 > CryBaby > Flanger as a starting point & then play about & see what makes the sounds "You" want. :D

Personally I'd flip the odb and the syb first and run it :-
Tuner - octave- synth- drive- wah- chorus / flanger

At the end of the day try whichever way you fancy and gets you to the sounds you're after

I tried putting the dirt after the filter & in a band situation I found it way to subtle to be noticed.
But just because it doesn't suit me, doesn't mean it wont suit you. Experimentation is 1/2 the fun of building a board. :D
Same, I don't really like the super exaggerated sound you get with it after.
I do the same with my modulation these days for exactly the same reason. I like the subtle textures you can add underneath dirt.

And the award for the most boring pedal board on bass chat goes to me

Essentially what we've got is stereo DI box that my Roladn Gaia goes in to, Stereo feed to the PA, mono/L channel link goes to the A/B Pedal so i can switch between my bass & synth coming from my amp. A tuner & volume pedal.

A really simple small board for only practical applications.

Awesome, ordered :)

I'm assuming his pedals are built to order? How long do they take to come?

Depends on how much he has on. The Thumpinator is a retailed item on his site though, as opposed to a custom build so Max may have some stock of them? He's the best person to ask! Drop em' an email or PM.

Here's mine. Got all I really need on it, I'm not into overdrive and such. Signals go into the A/B box, which then goes to the tuner, out of that into the chorus pedal (arrived this morning), and then into the MultiComp.

Few tweaks and stuff and the boat is back together. Sweeeeeeet....
