Xero worth the wait? ;)

I've got a Pitchfactor and VT Bass deluxe on the way (if the seller hasn't tried to con me.. annnnd once I pick up the VT from Houston. UPS screwed up ¬_¬ )
[/quote]

Well worth the wait! It's quite an unwieldy beast and takes a bit of taming, but I'm loving the fat dub! Controlling the self oscillation will take a bit more practice!

You've got some exciting stuff coming. Hope it gets to you soon :-)

For the first time ever, I have more than one pedal, so I thought I'd make a mini board:

Some excellent boards being posted, as per usual :)

I've been waiting on a Subterranea for a few months now. I'm getting tempted by the You're Doom fuzz while I wait though!

Has he still not caught up?

I don't miss mine too much if I am honest, I think it may have been rushed out a little in the end. What I think he should bring out is a large box Xerograph deluxe with the Subterrenea built in :)

Only a small change today ... I had to take the very cool Starla tremolo pedal off the board - nice at it is I really
don't have much use for it in the current band - and replace it with a much more useful TC Electronic Hall Of Fame.

The tremolo pedal will have to go to an experiments board at home for the time being, maybe I can come up with
something that lets it come back on the main board eventually. :)

(For those who wonder, The G30, Thumpinator, SABDDI and Suhr buffer are hidden under the upper shelf)

Here's my board as it stands at the moment. It's ever evolving, but I'm pretty happy with it at the moment.

I've only had my Demon for a few weeks, but it got a damn good go at tonight's gig and it rocks! More of the same tomorrow and I can't wait. What a pedal. Woot woot!!

Ok - two signal paths,
Line A EBS Bass Iq >> Boss Chorus
Line B Deep Impact >> EBS Octbass
>>EBS Multicomp (always on)
>> Sansamp DI

The black box at the back is to control the Mute and Sub on my Ashdown amp. Grey box back left is for the stage cable to/from the amp.

Just realised how mucky the board is but those are the remnants of a lot of Pyros !!

How are you powering it all? Not from the LS-2 surely?

New Pedal Train Junior has allowed for a much cleaner set up. Noise floor is better all around too due to the patch cables and power cables not crossing paths so much.

You know I approve so hard! ;)

Lol, still waiting to hear it with the band, as we've had to cancel all December gigs since the guitarist has had a weird epilepsy scare.

*Shelves the strobe-light pedal idea for another year*

Hope he's all good!

Ouch, best wishes to your guitarist. I'm not comfortable when there are strobes or lots of blinking lights. Not that I get seizures or anything like that but I quickly feel a bit disoriented and I can get a fine headache bordering on migraine, so I feel for him/her.

No - there is a regulated power supply not shown !! I wonder if a single PP3 could power them all :)

Thanks guys, had a rough couple of weeks recently. He is having relevant tests to discern what the problem is.

Hah! I was sitting reading the chain and actually was trying to figure out why the weren't shown!

Scrolling down works.

Nice board!

Thank you! It already changed again though, some new pedals and a bit of rearranging ... I feel like I'm posting this too much now, but here it is:

Nice selection ... and you gotta love top mounted jacks, I wish they all did that.

Top board. Really considering You're Doom, and I have a new B7K on the way (sold to fund my Cog, but decided I cannot do without it). The Pwnzor and Proton are not quite for me, do use use a passive bass, by any chance?

Posted

Two actives and two passives.

The only active that I have to treat a little differently is my American P V that had an Aguilar OBP 3 in it (big, big output... was clipping my PWNZOR until I turned the input gain down and played a little lighter).
