TrevorR
I sold my MXR M80 a while back and bought a VT Bass DI. Now that I've used it a few times, it's definitely a keeper and so a new pic of my rearranged board seems appropriate.
I love my VT Bass DI. Interested that you put it first in your signal chain. I'd never have considered that. Mine's being used as an amp sim and DI for an amp free set up so can only go last. Also is your Pitchblack last, after the effects? How does that track? Again, I would never have thought of that order. Or am I following the inter connectors wrongly? ezbass
You are reading the order correctly. I don't have any fx on while tuning, so tracking is not an issue and once tuned it's used more as a mute for changing basses. As the VT is being a preamp, I've put the modulation fx in a similar position to where they'd sit in an fx loop. The tweaked EQ also helps the Octaver track better with my Rob Allen. Guest FretNoMore
I used to have the tuner near the end of the chain too and it was surprisingly stable even with most effects turned on. Pitch shifting effects excluded, obviously.
AndyTravis
https://instagram.com/p/-7KxnGOQac/ Changed back to a diago (middle sized, had the biggest one and then an old stagg UPC). Added an OC-2, sold the Knockout and I'm trying a Yamaha ne-1 as a basis for the sound...and the Ashdown shape/DI for a clean boost.
haha no need we have a cat so no tinsel. the tentacle is wicked, really happy with it, really brings the fuzz's that little bit more bit (not that they need it) and the bottom end doesnt disappear. well worth a try, does need an isolated power supply tho. was a volume cut when i ran it straight for my gigrig distributor. so not 100% how it would be for people with daisy chains etc. Andy

GilGB
I love the 'F. it' approach to pedal order.
LOL Since i am working with switchers to change presets with my pedalboard, the only thing i need in front of my eyes are the switchers (the Decibel Eleven Pedal Palette and the One Control SALAMANDRA) and the pedals that are tap based ( the Timeline and the Pitchfactor). On the dirty signal,i need only the pedals that have 2 footswitches infront of me (the Factotum and the Basstard). Everything else can be buried under since they run only when i activate them thru the switchers.
BigBassBob
Excellent looking boards as usual! Not much has changed for me but I've reacquired a Whammy for lead playing on top of loops. I'm looking at grabbing a Boomerang III (and perhaps a BeatBuddy) sometime next year to expand some ideas I've been working on....

BigBassBob
Thanks! It's a Neunaber Slate; I use it for reverb, delay, chorus and shimmer (the pedal to the left of the tuner controls which effect is in use and can switch between two preset settings based on where you set the knobs previously). MothBox
Metro 20. I am contemplating some modulation but not really too sure where to start as theres been no specific call for it in the music I'm playing. May add a blend for the Demon as it feels like there is some low end loss, but the overall tone of it is killer, and it may be the way that it punches out the mids and trebles that gives that low end loss feel to me.
