Ant have a look at the Line 6 FM4 I a/b'ed it against the robotalk and its a much easier to trigger and much easier to control. Though both Subdecay and Catalinbread are working on Sample & Hold filters but don't hold your breath for them being available this year. thumbo
Here's my current setup. It runs in this order- BASS > Bassdrive > Deep Impact > EBS Bass IQ > Small Clone > Harmonist > Phase 90 > DD20 Giga Delay > RC20XL Loop Station > DBX 160a rack compressor > AMP The Tone Bone is either at the beginning or end of my pedal board, depending on how I'm using it. If so you might be able to use a simple midi drum machine (assuming you could set the note values) to create an arrpregio which would sync to the tempo by using the tap button. I have been considering trying this with a rack fx unit and ableton live.

Also to anyone else looking the arpegiator on that PS-3 is more like a real arpegiator than that of a Sample and Hold Filter so try not to compare them to much as they sound completely different. Personally I prefer the sounds of a Sample and Hold Filter. Hope this helps
