danbowskill Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 (edited) The breakup sound on this new Ebs black haze 2 is incredible, my new favourite drive. Used it at practice and it sounds superb in the mix. Kind of reminds me of the Ashdown hyperdrive when dialed in ...but way more beef (not as thin as the HD) it does something great to the mids .highly recommend 👌 Edited June 27, 2024 by danbowskill 11 Quote
JPJ Posted June 28, 2024 Posted June 28, 2024 My modest little board designed to cover my three needs, EUB, fretless bass, fretted bass. That Sushiboxfx Finally v2 ‘with bass in mind’ is just such a thing of beauty 😍 14 Quote
Oldman Posted June 28, 2024 Posted June 28, 2024 The new larger Bumble Bee double decker 🐝. I just need to programme it now. 10 Quote
JPJ Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 So, the last board layout lasted a week, and the Finally is now relocated to the end of my chain. Used it at my gig on Saturday and loved it, as did the sound guy. 9 Quote
gafbass02 Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 (edited) Latest version - I have no amp now, just IEMs and sometimes I use Headrush 112s. My helix does pretty much everything, but its synths and filters just can’t do what I need, so the zoom ms60b plus and DigiTech cover those, switched via the helix’s twin fx loops. The Mel9 is in front of the helix but switched via the blue foot switch. This layout keeps my cables well away from dancing feet, and avoids any cable strain, I’m very pleased. Power comes from the power bar built into the pedalboard. (Harley Benton 60xl with power). Edited July 2, 2024 by gafbass02 5 Quote
Sibob Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Cute little ‘clean’ board (ie no dirt) to make some giggling use of my 3Leaf Enabler, previously reduced to headphone amp duties at home. Si 15 Quote

0175westwood29 Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Or I may just try and send it into my kemper……. Quote
0175westwood29 Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 wantred to try this for a while! the Vo-1 is cool but i wanted to add some verb and maybe some other weird stuff, so using the hx in stereo to have a second bass signal but also treat the signal out of the Vocoder annoyingly my intface crapped itself last night but im gonna record some clips using my zoom h6 tonight 5 Quote

steviedee Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 (edited) Swapped out the SGT DI for the Capo, so I could try routing the HX Stomp, some effects going to the Pre and others Post. Got a chance to use my Lounsberry Mo Bass Pedal, which is an awesome overdrive and doesn’t get the love IMHO! Sounding great so far! Edited July 8, 2024 by steviedee 8 Quote
dan-horro Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Nice one! I have a very similar pedalboard approach , and I'm more than happy now. :)) 8 Quote
MichaelDean Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Got it tidied up. Still need to get a shorter cable for the external pedal, but at least it's hidden underneath the board. I'm running the Mojo Mojo into the Bass Big Muff on dry mode as one pedal, turning the effects loop on and off, and it's monstrous. Loads of definition from the MM and glorious fuzz from the BBM. Does make me wonder about replacing my overdriven sound with pedals too. Get an LS2 or something like a Morningstar ML5 that I can control with MIDI to switch between loops and find another combination of pedals where one can be dirty and the other blends it. A rat clone and something else maybe. I might be getting ahead of myself! And defnintley ahead of my budget of £0... Other changes: I've swapped out the boost at the beginning of the chain for an EQ pedal that is doing a boost with some EQ points that I want. It really saturates everything massivley. Plus I've added a phaser because now I have more DSP than I did after ditching the fuzz in the GX. And I've got an Amp sim in there that I can turn on/off for practice. 7 Quote
paulmcnamara Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 I've just updated my pedalboard with the addition of the Strymon Lex........ sounding good. 7 Quote
StingRayBoy42 Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 (edited) Here's my New Improved Enormous Pedalboard (NIEPB) The LS-2 flips between Soul Food -> Chorus and OC-2 -> C4 -> ODB-3, then TU-2 -> Thumpinator -> Comp -> Boost -> Preamp. I think. The Disaster Area controls the C4 patches, the remote is for the retina-searing LEDs, and yes there is something in the Altoids tin. Powered by a Voodoo Lab PP3+ I hope the slightly not-straight pedals don't trigger anyone's OCD. It's definitely 100% finished and I'm absolutely not going to buy anything else.
